Corporate Wellness Seminars
Corporate Wellness Seminars
Since 2017, I have been traveling cooperations, small and large business offices, and onsite workplaces to offer customized seminars, and group and individual support on a variety of topics and issues.
The Wellness seminars are more of a brief educational presentation, sometimes during a lunch and learn, that seeks to address a wellness issue in a preventative way, before problems arise.
It could be a seminar on general mental health and how to recognize signs that an employee should seek help (followed by instructions on accessing their company benefits or EAP program.) It could be a seminar on work stress and workplace balance, with coping skills to reduce stress (which ultimately improves attendance, productivity, and workplace satisfaction.) It could be a seminar for managers and the unique challenge of managing complex workloads and complex employees, including how to take care of yourself, while also taking care or your direct reporting employees in a way that supports them with information on how to access resources. Sometimes it is a seminar on grief, resilience, de-escalation, parenting, midlife concerns, aging parents, communication, burnout prevention, or building emotional intelligence. Seminars can be 30 minutes, 60 minutes, offered more than once in a single day to maximize when employees are able to attend, and customized to each workplace’s individual needs.
Corporate Grief Support & Critical Incident Debriefing
These seminars are in response to a sudden event, such as loss of a colleague or a traumatic incident that occurred in the workplace or in the community, leaving employees in need of support. The support can include a compassionate education presentation offering ways to cope with grief, what to expect in the grieving process, and how to seek out additional support. It can include an onsite group processing support group for whoever feels they would benefit. It can include a meeting with managers teaching them how to support their employees, and it can include a therapist remaining on site all day in a private office accepting walk ins who would like a more private meting to discuss their reaction to the event.
