Angela grew up in the New Bedford area with her parents and sister. Originally contemplating becoming a preschool teacher, she attended Greater New Bedford Vocational Technical High School to study the Early Childhood Education track.

After high school, she attended Eastern Nazarene College and double-majored in Early Childhood Education and Psychology. Upon completing her Bachelor's degree, she decided to pursue her Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy instead of a Master's in Education as originally planned. During graduate school, she accepted a one-year internship at a counseling center in Middleboro. She continued to practice there for 10 more years, earning her two Massachusetts state licenses (LMHC & LMFT), before opening her private practice in 2011.

Angela has been practicing in the Middleboro/Lakeville area for 22 years. She is the proud mother of three young adult daughters who are college age and older. She loves learning, spending time with people, the beach, skiing, laughing. Angela is down to earth and has a good sense of humor.
